About Me

Jackie Shave: I am the leader of Britten Sinfonia and am currently taking a year's sabbatical during which time I will be spending time on the Scottish isle of Harris working on and performing Beethoven's complete String Quartet Cycle and sailing in the North Atlantic. I am also writing music for violin tabla and guitar and we are making an album this year and performing our music. I will be travelling in Australia,Tasmania and India for the last three months of this sabbatical.
